קצת הגזמנו, לא? 733Mhz?
בכל מקרה השבב בו משתמשים ה-PULSAR II וה-SCOPE SP הוא ADSP-21065L של חברת Analog Devices ומהירותו היא 60Mhz. (אפשר לשלב עד 60 כאלו, 15 על כל כרטיס + 3 כרטיסי הרחבה של 15. 60X60 = 3600Mhz) כמו כן הייעוד של השבבים הוא DSP ולא Multi-Purpose ולכן המהירות היא לא מה שבסופו של דבר תקבע את ביצועי השבב, כרטיס.
עוד משהו ששכחתי להוסיף, השבב הוא בעל יכולת חישוב של 600 מגה-פלופים, למרות מהירותו הנמוכה יחסית (ישנו שבב SHARC במהירות 100Mhz אשר מסוגל, גם כן, לחשב "רק" 600 מגה-פלופים), מה שכמובן תורם לביצועי השבב והכרטיס.
